Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG and MIG welding on light gauge materials (1mm3mm) including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately Measure, cut, and align materials using calipers, clamps, and straightedges Set up and operate TIG welding equipment Carry out grinding, thermal cutting, and finishing operations to spec Use power and hand tools such as orbital sanders, grinders, and hand drills Ensure all welding meets required quality and construction standards Maintain knowledge of metal characteristics and appropriate welding techniques Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment Perform preventative maintenance and assist in basic equipment repairs Weld test required as part of the selection process ?? What Were Looking For: Proven experience in TIG/MIG welding and fabrication Confident working with light gauge materials (1mm3mm) Strong understanding of welding techniques across stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel Ability to read technical drawings and work with precision Hands-on experience with workshop tools and machinery Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Committed to producing high-quality workmanship and maintaining safety standards ??
