Overview
Join Pasta Evangelists as an HGV Multidrop Driver (7.5T truck) on the night shift. Location: CPU - North Acton. Deliver ingredients across London and the UK to support our pasta production and delivery network.
Responsibilities
* Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle in a safe manner, complying with road traffic and vehicle legislation.
* May be required to drive other company transport when needed.
* Transport products across short and long distances as per route requirements.
* Deliver our products across London and beyond (e.g., Cambridge, Nottingham, Cardiff, Liverpool) and to select partners such as Ocado (Twickenham) and Harrods (Central London).
* Unload deliveries by hand into the kitchen where the team accepts delivery; may involve handling heavy trays.
* Store chilled and frozen items immediately in designated storage to ensure proper handling and temperature control.
* Complete delivery paperwork and provide copies to recipients.
* Maintain regular communication with route planners.
* Perform vehicle checks at the start and end of each journey and report any defects.
* Comply with UK transport regulations and report issues to the relevant person.
* Ensure the vehicle and stock are securely stored at all times.
* Collect returnable equipment and waste as part of routine duties and manage items per procedures.
Who you are
* A flexible, motivated, hard-working person capable of delivering ingredients across London and beyond.
* At least 1 year of experience as a van delivery driver.
* Possess C1 driving licence and CPC certificate.
* Can adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
* No points on licence.
* Available to work day and night shifts from Monday to Sunday with 2 days off.
