Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that school meals are loaded safely onto delivery trucks and transported to designated delivery points on school grounds or other sites.
2. Collect trays, plates, and cutlery from school venues.
3. Report consumer comments or complaints and take appropriate remedial actions when necessary.
4. Provide food and packed lunches on time, in correct quantities, including any special dietary or allergy considerations.
5. Complete orders promptly and ensure they are in good condition, adhering to Food Safety and Temperature Storage Regulations.
6. Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers simultaneously.
7. Operate a vehicle safely in all weather conditions.
8. Follow school speed limits and the Highway Code when driving on public roads.
9. Conduct visual vehicle safety inspections and drive safely at all times.
10. Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and refuel as needed. Smoking is not permitted in company vehicles.
11. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
12. Store goods in accordance with HACCP principles and legislation.
13. Assist in food and snack preparation.
14. Keep kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy.
15. Provide friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers.
