The Role:
* Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that supports pupils with a wide range of special educational needs.
* Lead, coordinate, or contribute to SEND provision within the school, ensuring pupils receive tailored support.
* Work closely with external agencies, support staff, and leadership teams to develop and implement EHCPs and individual learning plans.
* Champion best practice in SEND, ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to progress and thrive.
* Support colleagues with strategies, interventions, and adjustments that enhance the learning experience for SEND pupils.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS and has experience working within SEN, or holds/ is working towards the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) for SENCO/SENDCO roles.
* Has strong understanding of EHCP processes, interventions, and SEND frameworks.
* Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Is passionate about inclusion and committed to supporting the unique needs of every learner.
* Has a collaborative mindset and a child-centred approach to teaching and leadership.
