Role overview:
The Merchandising Development Assistant plays a vital role within the Merchandising Development team by providing day to day support to the Merchandising function and assisting to deliver and evolve systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting merchandising systems and processes by acting as a key contact for internal teams and suppliers - helping to streamline communication, ensuring data accuracy and smooth day-to-day operations.
* Ensure supplier information is available on time, in full and accurate to support crtical business processes.
* Support the digital messaging product and order processes helping to resolve issues quickly to meet deadlines.
* Provide general administrative support for the applications within the department.
* Assisting with the general day-to-day activities of the Merchandising Development team.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of a document repository.
* Continually develop knowledge of systems and processes
* Provide support to new initiatives and projects as required.
Skills and Experience:
* Basic excel.
* Good communicator - able to build relationships with stakeholders and to work across teams.
* Able to take ownership of work and use initiative to deliver on key responsibilities.
* Good teamwork skills, being able to work collaboratively to reach a common goal, sharing information and supporting colleagues.
* Positive, flexible, and responsive to business needs.
* Curious with a continuous learning mindset.
* Administrative skills including data input and record keeping.
* Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
