Job Title: Financial Controller Location: Staffordshire Remuneration: £85,000 - £100,000 per annum Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time Responsibilities: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions. Oversee the creation of precise financial statements and management reports. Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance to enhance profitability. Conduct detailed financial analyses to inform decision-making and support growth strategies. Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and maintain robust internal financial controls. Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect company assets. Engage with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. Identify cost-saving measures and drive operational efficiencies. Enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting processes. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams on financial negotiations and contract management. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve excellence. Work closely with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives. Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions and growth initiatives. You Will Excel If You: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Have a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent. Bring experience in financial management, particularly in the manufacturing or engineering sectors. Possess strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and strategic thinking capabilities.
