Irlam Associates are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our client at London Heathrow. This role is responsible for providing strong generalist HR support to a defined business area and covers all aspects of HR from recruitment and onboarding through to advising on serious disciplinary and grievance issues.
You will be responsible for partnering with managers across the business to drive performance, manage change and support a high performing workforce. You will be acting as a trusted point of contact for senior managers, where you will be required to be proactive, solution-focused and able to remain composed under pressure.
This is an excellent opportunity in a truly generalist role as part of a friendly and close knit team.
Note this role is office based.
Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:
* Working with a defined business area to provide HR advice and guidance on a range of employee issues
* Managing the HR administration for the defined business area including sickness absence monitoring, payroll input, new starter and leaver processes
* Managing serious employee relations cases: disciplinary and grievance meetings including providing professional advice, ensuring the process and documentation are accurate and ensuring adherence to company policies
* Partnering with the business to ensure people processes are managed correctly
* Reporting of monthly trends, actions and issues and suggesting solutions to the business
* Managing high volume recruitment campaigns to successful completion
To be successful in this role you will need:
* A degree or equivalent experience in HR
* Experience of working in a generalist HR environment
* CIPD qualification Level 5 or above
* The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
* Strong attention to detail
