The Team:
The Hiscox UK Change Team is the bridge between the business and the technology teams, ensuring that technology change is prioritised, defined, broken down and delivered in a way that enables the business to achieve its strategic goals, whilst also enabling the technology strategy. This means understanding the end-to-end context of the change, and having a laser-focus on value so that we can ensure both that we’re doing the right things, and doing the things right. About You:

As PMO manager you will be supporting the delivery of a complex portfolio of projects and value streams. You will need a strong understanding of portfolio management and PMO processes. You will need to be able to deliver excellence in Financial management, resourcing, planning, governance and reporting. You will need to have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting the UK Change Manager in all aspects of portfolio management
2. Supporting and guiding project managers and product owners in governance and reporting processes
3. Managing the Change Board and stage gate process
4. Taking responsibility for the PMO function and its processes
5. Portfolio risk management
6. Portfolio financial management
7. Reviewing and adapting PMO processes to support shift to a more agile environment
8. Production of portfolio reports for UK Leadership Team
Our must-haves:
9. Previous experience of managing a PMO function
10. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of supporting projects in a complex environment
11. Experience of working with a range of stakeholders, both from an assisting and assurance perspective
12. Excellent MS Office skills especially MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
13. Highly organised with practical experience of planning and resource scheduling
14. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business
