Join Our Team as a Nursery Room Leader!
Position: Full-time, Permanent (Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week)
Salary: £14.06 per hour
Location: Nestled in a stunning rural setting, our converted barn nursery is surrounded by fields, offering large outdoor play areas perfect for all weather conditions.
At our nursery, we believe in creating a nurturing environment where children from birth to 5 years can explore, learn, and grow through engaging activities and resources. Our love for the outdoors shines through with open spaces and a bespoke forest school facility that enhances outdoor learning.
Our mission is to provide a happy, home-like atmosphere where every child receives individual attention and learns through play. We partner closely with parents to ensure we meet the unique needs of each family.
This role is perfect for an experienced Room Lead or Nursery Practitioner who has a passion for working with children aged 0-5 and is eager to embrace an exciting career opportunity.
Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience:
* Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential
* Over 1 year's experience in Early Years - Essential
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
* Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
Your Role as a Room Leader:
As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
* Lead the care and development of children aged 3 months to 1 year.
* Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports secure attachments.
* Guide and support team members, identifying their training needs.
* Utilize EyLog/EyMan to track progress and maintain accurate records.
* Build strong relationships with parents and keep them informed.
* Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards.
* Promote outdoor learning and overall child development.
* Model professionalism and foster a respectful team culture.
