Position Overview
Operational Manager – Dewsbury locality. Permanent, Grade 12, salary £45,091‑£47,181, 37 hours per week, home/community based (Dewsbury).
Responsibilities
* Provide operational leadership, management and performance oversight for the assigned team(s).
* Support and, where appropriate, lead service developments as part of a flexible team.
* Collaborate with a range of partners, leading specific agendas as required.
* Build effective relationships with community leaders, elected members, senior officers, partner agencies and local communities to develop and embed the Kirklees Integrated Wellness Model.
* Develop an integrated Health Improvement approach for adults, helping people build their capacity to maintain good health and independence.
* Apply a strengths‑based mindset to acknowledge and unlock the abilities of individuals and communities, using local assets to promote healthy lives.
* Support individuals in finding solutions to factors that determine health, preventing the development or worsening of health conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Relevant qualification or experience in health, social care, education or wellbeing/community fields.
* Strong interpersonal and partnership‑building skills.
* Experience in operational leadership and team development.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multi‑agency environment.
* DBS check at the appropriate level is required for the role.
