Location: Langport, Somerset
Salary: up to £25,699 per annum
Contract/Hours: Permanent/Full Time (40 hours per week)

A day in the life of an Early Years Practitioner (Unqualified)
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll support the team in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. On a day-to-day basis, you'll assist with the play-based learning, help children develop social and practical skills, support mealtimes and routines, and work closely with your colleagues to me each child's individual needs.
About the nursery:
Spring The Levels is a 36-place nursery located within The Levels Children Centre in Langport. The nursery provides a warm, friendly and stimulating environment for children ages 3 months to 5 years. Our highly qualified and dedicated team are passionate about nurturing children and supporting their early learning and development.
We work collaboratively with the wider network of Spring Nurseries in the local area, fostering shared resources, best practices, and a strong support system to ensure everyone has the tools they need to succeed.
What you'll be doing:
* Supervising the children and keep our active, flexible nursery environment safe and suited to their needs.
* Giving children a wide range of stimulating, safe and well-planned activities.
* Creating engaging, fun, and informative learning opportunities, helping the children make excellent progress and meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Building solid relationships with parents / carers, families and professionals involved with the children.
* Meeting each of the children's individual needs, keeping accurate records and regularly communicating with parents / carers.
* Having a positive attitude, making everyday count for the children in our care.
What we need from you:
* A passion to learn and develop whether you are new to the sector or an experienced practitioner.
* Experience working with children in an early years or childcare environment.
* Understanding of children's emotional, physical, psychological, and educational developmental needs from 0 to 5 years.
* A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards.
* A willingness to complete further childcare training & qualifications.
