We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a band 6 rotational clinical pharmacist.

These opportunities are offered full-time (37.5 hours), but flexible working requests will be considered. Please also note this is a fixed term position for 6 months for secondment cover. Pharmacists from other sectors (i.e. community) are welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job
To provide clinical pharmacy services across East Cheshire NHST Trust - including dispensary, outpatient, inpatient, and specialist services (i.e. hospices, virtual wards, and community services).
Our team of clinical pharmacists currently provide services to the following inpatient specialties:
Cardiology
Respiratory
Endocrinology
Medical admissions
Trauma and orthopaedics
General Surgery
Paediatrics
Care of the Elderly
Intermediate Care
Palliative care
Pre-operative assessment clinic
Virtual wards
We invite you to join our tight-knit clinical pharmacy team who will support your professional development and growth. You will be supported, trained, and coached to work across the numerous exciting clinical specialties within the Trust and also includes training and integration with wider specialist services - from antimicrobial stewardship and medicines information, hospice, and virtual wards.
Self-motivation, organisation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in these posts, as is the ability to work effectively alone and as part of wider teams.

Qualifications
* Masters Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
* Pre-registration training
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Knowledge and Skills
* Good understanding of pharmacy in secondary care
Experience
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good time management
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Ability to problem solve
* Self-motivating and ability to motivate others
* Previous hospital pharmacy experience
