Job role Overview
As a Community Care Assistant you role is to provide essential personal care and support, to multiple individuals with a variation of needs, and essentially to help them to maintain independence, dignity, within the comfort of their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene
* Assisting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks
* Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
* Prompting or administering medication in line with individual care plans
* Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
* Travelling between service users within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
* Working full-time hours, including some weekdays and weekends as part of a rota

Pay Rates
Non-Qualified Carers:
* Weekdays: £12.65 per hour
* Weekends: £13.00 per hour
Qualified Carers (Level 2+):
* Weekdays: £13.10 per hour
* Weekends: £14.00 per hour
(Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked)

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to your own vehicle
* Availability for full-time hours, including rota-based weekends
* A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Previous care experience is welcome but not essential – full training provided
