Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Customs Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering expert customs advisory services, ensuring compliance with ever-changing regulations, and helping clients optimise their customs processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Customs & Trade Advisory – Provide expert guidance on customsregulations, compliance strategies, and trade optimisation opportunities.
* Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for their customs needs.
* Business Development – Identify new business opportunities, contribute to sales strategies, and prepare proposals to expand ourconsultancy services.
* Regulatory Compliance – Stay up to date with UK, EU, and international customs regulations, ensuring clients remain compliant and minimise risks.
* Process Improvement – Work with clients to optimise their customs and trade operations, driving efficiencies and cost savings.
* Market Research & Insights – Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to keep ALS ahead of the curve.
