Vertical Recruitment are working with a well respected multidisciplinary consultancy that’s looking to add a Graduate / Project Structural Engineer to its Manchester team due to continued growth. This is a really unique opportunity offering exposure to both permanent building structures and temporary exhibition and event structures for high profile clients. You’ll gain involvement across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to site inspections and delivery, within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Role & Responsibilities: Producing structural design calculations Assisting with detailed design and construction drawings Undertaking site visits, surveys and inspections Supporting the preparation of technical reports Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of sectors Attending project meetings and contributing throughout project delivery Experience Required: Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering Around 2–3 years’ consultancy experience Experience working on structural projects across a range of materials Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes Experience using structural design software such as SCIA or MasterSeries would be beneficial Keen to continue progressing towards Chartership Benefits: Flexible and hybrid working Structured Chartership support and ongoing training Strong benefits package including healthcare, life assurance and enhanced pension Supportive and collaborative culture Social events and employee wellbeing initiatives Opportunity to work on a genuinely varied project portfolio
