Summary
The Senior Marketing Executive will drive the development and execution of Connect Caterings marketing strategy to drive business growth, strengthen brand awareness, and promote services across a variety of sectors.
Working in office 5 days per week, the role will also include ensuring marketing activities keep pace with industry trends and supporting internal and external communications.
Communicating with operational teams you will produce and design tailored marketing efforts to achieve site and company goals while maintaining a consistent brand identity
Key Responsibilities
1. Site & Operational Support:
Work closely with site and operations managers and teams to develop marketing initiatives that support their goals, such as driving engagement or promoting events.
Support the branding of sites, ensuring promotional materials are provided promptly, aligning with modern industry trends and high standards.
2. Branding & Communications:
Maintain and enhance Connect Caterings brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
Produce high-quality content, including blogs, case studies, press releases, monthly newsletters, and internal communications.
Support bid and tender submissions with creative and engaging marketing collateral.
Oversee the production of a high-quality internal communications, distributed to employees and clients.
3. Strategic Planning & Innovation:
Develop and execute Connect Caterings marketing strategy to increase brand visibility and support growth.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, client needs, and competitor activities.
Bring innovative, creative ideas to enhance marketing strategies and service offerings, ensuring Connect Catering is at the forefront of industry trends.
4. Campaign Management & Promotions:
Plan, implement, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads, support client retention and highlight Connect Caterings expertise and offerings.
Develop and maintain an annual plan for promotions, pop-ups, and special days, creating promotional materials such as posters and tariffs for sites.
Respond to industry news and client requests by developing timely promotional initiatives.
5. Digital & Social Media Management:
Ensure the company website and internal platforms (intranet/SharePoint) are regularly updated with fresh content.
Work with the internal and external teams to optimise digital presence, developing a strong social media strategy to increase engagement and brand visibility.
Monitor social media trends and best practices to ensure the company remains relevant online, encouraging internal teams to contribute to social media efforts.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using KPIs such as ROI, engagement, and lead generation
Present insights and actionable recommendations to the leadership team to improve future strategies.
Maintain an organised filing system for marketing data, ensuring easy access to key performance metrics.
Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to deliver the best outcomes for campaigns.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, operations, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Manage relationships with external agencies, designers, printers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
Be a key point of contact between clients, unit managers, and operational teams, encouraging success stories and collaborative achievements.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally within catering, hospitality, or a related sector.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
Experience creating and managing tailored marketing materials across a variety of sectors.
Excellent copywriting, content creation, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems.
Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Familiarity working across site sectors, understanding their bespoke requirements.
Experience in supporting operational teams with site-level marketing.
Knowledge of bid and tender marketing support processes.
Personal Attributes:
Creative thinker with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Data-driven mindset, able to analyse results and refine strategies accordingly.
