You will work closely with an experienced team of veterinary surgeons, nurses and support staff to deliver exceptional patient and client care across both routine and more advanced cases. The role offers excellent clinical variety, from anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing to inpatient care, nurse clinics and client education. Nurses are actively encouraged to work to the top of their qualification and are fully supported in their professional development with certificate funding and range of in-house support to obtain these. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care across all areas of the practice Assist with consultations, diagnostics and surgical procedures Monitor anaesthesia and provide perioperative care Run nurse-led clinics including preventative healthcare and post-operative checks Provide inpatient monitoring and administer treatments Maintain accurate clinical and hospitalisation records Support stock control and ensure correct charging of consumables and medications Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement and infection control Deliver outstanding communication and client support Working Pattern Average of 40 hours per week across a 9-week rota Typically 40 hours over 5 weekdays 2 in 9 weekend rota No sole charge required The Practice The practices holds Gold Cat Friendly accreditation, providing 24-hour emergency and inpatient care with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities.
