Job Description:
We are recruiting for an Automation Maintenance Technician at our Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre, Slough, SL3 8AQ.
Potential earnings: over £65,000 per annum.
Salary: £55,151 per annum, including night shift allowance, 22.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a defined contribution pension scheme. Weekend shift allowances apply for Saturday (£51) and Sunday (£102).
The role involves working on a 4-week rotation system with 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, averaging 40 hours per week, with some voluntary flexibility to meet operational needs, including overtime.
Shift Pattern Example:
Week 1: Monday to Friday (Days) – 4 days on, 7 days off.
Week 2: Friday to Sunday (Nights) – 4 nights on, 3 days off, etc.

The Role
Full-time, 40 hours/week, responsible for maintaining automation assets through preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, supporting continuous improvement, fault logging, root cause analysis, and supporting operational performance.
About You
Qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), with understanding of Health & Safety legislation, experience maintaining automation equipment, and a full UK driving license for occasional site travel.
