Overview
Sous Chef – Restaurant Sevenoaks Up to £38K + Tips. A new restaurant opening soon near Sevenoaks will be pushing for at least 1 Rosette, cooking a lot of fish and game when in season. This will be a busy kitchen where the focus is on flavour-led, well-planned dishes rather than over-technical plating.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside the Exec Head Chef assisting with the daily running of the kitchen.
* Help organise daily prep between the team and cook during service.
* Contribute to a cohesive, well-communicating team in a Rosette-standard kitchen.
* Support progression opportunities within the business as the team grows (second property with a third in planning).
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience with Rosette-standard cooking and a passion for good food.
* Organised, with a strong understanding of the importance of communication and teamwork.
* Friendly, talented chef who enjoys cooking and mentoring others.
* Ideally lives in or near Sevenoaks, Borough Green, Chipstead, West Malling or Tonbridge.
Benefits
* Base salary of £38,000 (dependent on experience).
