Bank Patient Service Advisor – Glasgow Hospital
Position Details
Part‑time, £13.10 per hour. Shifts: Monday – Thursday 8:00‑9:00, Friday 8:00‑6:00, weekend availability. Work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit business needs and availability.
The hospital is located in the heart of the West End of Glasgow and is part of Scotland's leading private hospitals.
Responsibilities
* Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, and website, providing information about hospital services and treatments.
* Log enquiries on the Hospital CRM and oversee the customer journey.
* Book appointments for patients, ensuring full GDPR compliance.
* Coordinate clinic room allocations and booking with medical secretaries, consultants, and other staff.
* Transfer clinic lists onto the Patient Information Management System (PIMS) with accurate patient details to avoid duplicate records.
* Manage departmental email inboxes and associated actions.
* Check in patients and book future appointments at the desk and over the phone.
* Provide a warm welcome to all visitors, patients and consultants to the department.
* Work closely with consultants and medical secretaries to deliver services for patients.
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proven experience in customer service.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and IT literacy.
* Good organisational skills.
