Overview
A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. We are currently looking to recruit a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to work across the Perinatal Mental Health Service teams in Rotherham and Doncaster. The post will be split between Rotherham and Doncaster, offering 0.3 wte to each team.
The Perinatal Mental Health Service is a specialist service for women with mental health problems around the time of having a baby, and their families. This is an exciting leadership role in the service.
Qualifications
You will need to be an experienced, suitably qualified and registered as a Clinical Psychologist with HCPC or Psychotherapist qualified and registered with the appropriate body (BABCP, UKCP, HCPC) with a real passion for perinatal mental health care. You should have attained a level of experience proportionate to the competencies detailed in the job description, possess the skills as detailed in the person specification and be able to work autonomously and with partner agencies.
Responsibilities
* Be an integral part of the leadership team and be involved in developing the pathways around Psychological care in these teams.
* Join multidisciplinary teams, working alongside other Psychological Professions, who are focused on delivering high quality care.
* Opportunity to join a growing team of supportive, compassionate and value-driven Psychological Professions across Rotherham and Doncaster.
* Lead on the developments of the service related to psychological and therapeutic work, encompassing interfacing with key stakeholders, designing, implementing /evaluating trauma informed care pathways and interventions, delivering training, line management/supervision/job planning with staff, and designing staffing models and progressing recruitment.
* Lead in developing psychological care pathways and innovations aligned with NHS Long Term Plan and commissioning arrangements.
* Work with flexible service delivery to meet the needs of women and families; appointments in several locations with tailored care.
* Engage in leadership activities and duties requiring frequent attendance at the team base; understand work role requirements.
* Receive management supervision from the Community Directorate Lead for Psychological Professions.
