Investment Planning Manager
37 hours per week, based in Preston at our gorgeous dock-side view offices.
£56,000.00 per annum
What you will be doing in this role?
The Investment Planning Manager leads a small team including surveyors, a sustainability officer and an administrator. You will be responsible for establishing annual and long-term investment programmes to CGA’s homes and environment; using and analysing stock condition data to prepare costed plans; preparing specifications and contract documents and procuring works in line with latest regulations. You will ensure that CGA’s assets meet the Decent Homes Standard and sustainability targets whilst remaining within Business Plan parameters.
This role sits within the Asset Management Team, whose overarching purpose is to ensure our tenants live in well-maintained and safe homes.
What we are looking for:
* Experience of stock investment planning and successful delivery of major programmes of work.
* A good general knowledge of health and safety with regards to housing and construction
* Experience of delivering against the requirements of the Decent Homes Standard, HHSRS and EPCs.
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead, support, motivate and manage a team.
* You have or are working towards a RICS or equivalent qualification.
It would be great if you also had:
* Experience of new technologies and initiatives in relation to sustainability and Carbon Net Zero.
* A Chartered Institute of Housing Qualification (Level 4 or above).
* Knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
