Your Role: Vice President, Markets and Policy Analysis
We’re on the lookout for a future team member to join our Global Government and Regulatory Affairs (GGRA) team. This role is open to candidates in London or Manchester (4 days in office required).
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and effective analyst, writer, and communicator who operates at the intersection of financial services, public policy, and geopolitics. Your ability to synthesize complex topics and translate expert insights into clear, accessible content will be essential. Experience at think tanks, news outlets, or consulting firms is highly valued.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
* Create clear, client-focused content that aligns with BNY business objectives for global use.
* Translate complex financial, technology, and industry topics into accessible content for diverse audiences.
* Conduct in-depth reviews and analyses of emerging geopolitical, policy, and regulatory developments in collaboration with subject matter experts.
* Support the publication of newsletters tracking global political and policy developments relevant to the bank and our clients.
* Continuously learn and adapt content strategies based on feedback and evolving client needs.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking candidates who possess the following:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; master's degree preferred.
* Prior experience at think tanks, news outlets, or consulting firms is preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A knack for synthesizing complex topics and translating expert knowledge into engaging content.
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.
* Ability to work independently with sound judgment and manage competing priorities.
* Quickly digest significant amounts of new information to identify what matters to BNY and its stakeholders.
* Working knowledge of financial markets, geopolitical developments, and policy processes related to banking and financial services.
* Collaborative spirit to work across different teams and regions.
* Creative problem-solving skills.
