Senior Finance Assistant required for a growing SME business based in New Milton. You will be an experienced finance professional with a strong background in supporting an FD and managing end-to-end transactional finance within a multi-ledger environment. Proven track record in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end processes. You will be a collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving processes.
This is an office-based role, with the potential to work from home one day per week following the successful completion of the probation period. There are also opportunities for career progression within the company for those looking to grow and develop.
Key duties
* Managing purchase and sales ledgers across multiple entities
* Processing invoices, payments, and employee expenses
* Chasing outstanding debts and handling invoice queries
* Performing bank reconciliations and submitting CIS returns
* Maintaining accurate records in Sage 50
* Reviewing supplier statements and running weekly payments
* Liaising with teams to ensure accurate financial data
