?? Salary: £26,325 per annum (overtime can increase total earnings up to £33,000 based on an average of 89 hours per week)
We are seeking a Mobile Occupational Health Technician to deliver high-quality health surveillance services to clients across the Peterborough area.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is organised, and thrives in a dynamic, mobile environment. Full training will be provided.
What youll be doing:
* Carrying out health surveillance, assessments, drug and alcohol testing, venipuncture, and vaccinations (if trained).
* Preparing and maintaining mobile units, equipment, and stock.
* Managing paperwork, databases, and reports accurately.
* Ensuring equipment calibration, cleanliness, and vehicle readiness.
* Planning routes and logistics effectively to meet client needs.
* Promoting health and wellbeing in workplace settings.
* Supporting with administrative duties when not travelling.
What were looking for:
* Degree in Sports Science or a related field OR transferable skills (e.g., EMT experience, nursing background).
* Full clean UK driving license (able to drive and park a 3.5t mobile unit at home).
* Flexibility to travel nationwide with overnight stays as required.
* General Nursing qualification or prior OH Technician experience desirable.
* Strong organisational skills, adaptability, and proactive mindset.
Additional information:
* Start and finish times vary depending on client requirements (including occasional night shifts, paid at a higher rate).
* Overtime is usually made up of travel time and paid at an enhanced rate.
* All drivers will receive familiarisation training and must complete a Drivers Medical.
* Employment is subject to a DBS check and Right to Work evidence.
