Job Title: Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Northampton NN17, Hybrid Working
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time or Part Time (7.5 - 37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30.
Role Summary
We are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our team, providing services for a large, well‑established client based in Northampton. The role involves one day per week on‑site at this client location, with remaining days worked remotely. This position is open to part‑time hours (7.5–22.5 hours per week) and full‑time (37.5 hours per week). A permanent one‑day‑per‑week contract may be considered to accommodate the onsite work in NN17. The client operates within a large industrial sector with a strong focus on employee health, safety, and wellbeing. The role will involve a mixture of case management and health surveillance. When managing cases, these will be around 45 minutes per case, giving a varied and manageable workload. In this role, you will deliver health surveillance, assessments, and fitness‑for‑work advice, supporting the client’s Occupational Health requirements and helping employees maintain their health and performance.
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse with experience as an Occupational Health Advisor.
* Occupational Health Nursing qualification desirable but not essential.
* Current NMC Registration.
* Case management experience as an Occupational Health Advisor.
* Ability to travel to client site where required on a weekly basis.
