Job summary
Registered Nurse – Claerwen Ward, Llandrindod Wells Hospital. Part‑time, permanent, part of a multidisciplinary team. Support from ward manager, senior nursing and therapies staff. Hours and working patterns flexible.
Main duties
* Deliver nursing care for adult inpatient patients, including palliative care, rehabilitation and general medical care.
* Work autonomously while receiving support from senior nursing, therapies and ward management staff.
* Document patient care accurately and maintain consent and clinical governance standards.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary team.
* Work under pressure and support ward objectives.
Qualifications & Experience – Essential
* NMC Registered
* Pre‑registration evidence in direct nursing care
* Experience providing holistic nursing care
* Inter‑personal communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Basic IT skills and documentation
* Clear understanding of consent process
Qualifications & Experience – Desirable
* Evidence of post‑registration study and training
* Awareness of safeguarding and policies
* Intermediate life support
* Clear understanding of clinical governance framework
* Implement evidence‑based practice
* Ability to speak Welsh
Other
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Ability to work under pressure

£31,516 to £38,364 a year, pro rata
