Position
We're looking for a part-time General Practice Nurse to complete our nursing team.
About the Practice
Dr Comiskey and Partners is a twin site GP Practice with branches based in Portobello and Conan Doyle Medical Centre at Cameron Toll. Our clinical team comprises of 7 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 2 full time PN, 4 part time PNs, 3 part time phlebotomists and a Practice Pharmacist. We offer high quality care to a diverse population of approx. 12,000 patients. We have a good reputation within our localities and stability within our Nursing team for many years.
Responsibilities
The new PN will be expected to be an active and enthusiastic participant in the team, helping it to embrace the future as other team members contemplate retirement. They will work alongside our GPs and senior PNs to provide a high standard of clinical care, including all long‑term condition management and a full range of contraceptive services. Autonomous practice is actively supported and further training will be offered where required.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a valid NMC registration, a PVG certificate, and be eligible to work in the UK. Preference will be given to those with experience.
Hours & Salary
Vacancy for 20 hours per week. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Our IT system is Vision.
