Job Purpose We are seeking an IT Quality and Testing Professional to support the development and delivery of Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions. The role will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and functionality of enterprise software applications, mobile platforms, and backend services through comprehensive testing, validation, and quality assurance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, software engineers, business analysts, operations teams, and customers to define testing strategies, identify defects, validate business requirements, and ensure software solutions meet organisational and customer expectations. Key Duties and Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing frameworks for enterprise software applications, web platforms, mobile applications, and backend services. Analyse business requirements, technical specifications, and functional designs to ensure adequate test coverage and quality standards. Design and implement automated testing solutions for web, mobile, and enterprise applications. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing activities. Identify, investigate, document, prioritise, and track software defects and system issues through to resolution. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to validate software releases and ensure production readiness. Lead quality assurance reviews and provide technical guidance to junior testing team members. Evaluate software performance, reliability, scalability, and usability against business and technical requirements. Conduct root-cause analysis of defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, quality standards, and testing processes. Build and maintain test documentation, defect reports, quality metrics, and release validation records. Coordinate testing activities across multiple projects and provide feedback on project specifications and implementation approaches. Validate integrations between enterprise systems, databases, websites, mobile applications, and third-party services. Support customer production environments through defect investigation, validation, and quality assurance activities to achieve First Time Through (FTT) objectives. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Provide ad-hoc reporting, quality analysis, and testing status updates to project stakeholders and management. Minimum Skills, Qualifications and Experience Qualifications University degree (or equivalent qualification) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related discipline. Technical Skills Experience in software quality assurance and testing of enterprise applications. Strong experience in automated testing of web and mobile applications. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PL/SQL for test automation, data validation, and analysis. Experience testing applications developed using Oracle, PHP, ASP.NET, .NET, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, JavaScript, and AJAX technologies. Experience testing iOS, Android, web, and cloud-based applications. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments. Experience with defect management, test management, and version control tools including Git. Understanding of content management systems including Drupal and WordPress. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SCSS, React, Vue, and related web technologies from a testing and quality assurance perspective. Experience performing performance, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to software quality. Ability to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and mentor junior colleagues. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
