We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our customer, County Ready Mix in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

The Quality Control Technician in the Ready Mix Division will travel to various company plants and jobsites to perform quality assurance processes on our Ready Mixed Concrete. This role also involves testing the quality and acceptance of raw materials.
Job Duties:
1. Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the production of materials and products.
2. Record observations and recommend process improvements.
3. Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry.
4. Collaborate with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to concrete performance.
5. Maintain housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
6. Perform other tasks as needed.
Work Environment:
* Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
* Work near moving machinery and equipment.
* Work in a noisy environment.
Physical Requirements:
* Frequently carry/lift 10 - 40 pounds.
* Occasionally carry/lift over 40 pounds.
* Stand, walk, and climb.
* Squat, crouch, kneel, and bend.
* Push, pull, and reach above shoulder level.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Concrete plant and/or quality control experience preferred.
* Ability to interpret job specifications.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Strong math skills.
* Ability to train and obtain technical certifications as supported by the company.
* Ability to work independently.
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Experience in construction or building materials industry is a plus.
* Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
