We are seeking an ambitious and technically competent General Manager to lead our electronics repair business through its next phase of growth.
The company, recently acquired by a larger group, has a strong reputation in high-quality electronics repair. This is a unique opportunity for a technically skilled leader to take on a role with real influence, strong support, and significant growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
 * Drive Operational Excellence – Lead and optimise day‑to‑day production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
 * Technical Leadership – Apply strong electronic engineering knowledge to guide the team, troubleshoot technical challenges, and uphold high repair standards.
 * Customer Engagement – Act as a primary customer contact, resolving issues effectively, maintaining relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
 * Team Management – Recruit, develop, and manage staff, including performance reviews, training, and where necessary, disciplinary action or terminations.
 * Financial Oversight – Take responsibility for delivering against P&L targets; manage budgets and cost controls (commercial training and support provided if required).
 * Strategic Growth – Identify opportunities for business improvement and growth in line with the wider group’s objectives.
 * Reporting – Provide regular updates on operational performance, budgets, and key metrics to group management.
Candidate Profile
 * Proven track record in electronics repair, production, or engineering leadership.
 * Strong problem‑solving ability with hands‑on technical competence.
 * Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in customer‑facing roles.
 * Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams.
 * Organised, decisive, and results oriented.
 * Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
 * Experience managing budgets and P&L targets.
 * Commercial acumen and ability to spot business opportunities.
 * Experience within a repair, manufacturing, or engineering service environment.
