Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to lead training sessions for our youth team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate players of varying skill levels. This role involves not only training players in the technical aspects of football but also fostering teamwork, discipline, and the clubs values.
Responsibilities
* Deliver training sessions in line with the clubs training programme, to enhance players' skills and performance.
* Create a positive and encouraging environment that promotes the clubs ethos and values. Including positive behaviour management.
* Communicate clearly with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding expectations and progress.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football.
* FA level 1 coaching qualification or higher
* Strong teaching coaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with players and parents.
* A deep understanding of the rules of football and a passion for the game.
* Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
