We are looking for a passionate and skilled culinary professional to join our talented team of relief chefs and contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet our high standards.
- Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, such as pastry, grill, or sauces, and manage all aspects of that area.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our seasonal menu, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing your culinary knowledge and techniques to enhance their skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and contribute innovative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock control for your section.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
