About the Role

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Games Art, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, industry-informed teaching that supports students to develop their creative, technical and professional skills. Working within the School of Digital, Technology, Innovation and Business, you will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative learning experiences across undergraduate and postgraduate provision. You will collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to ensure our courses remain relevant, inclusive and aligned to current and emerging practices in Games Art. This role offers the opportunity to support students from a wide range of backgrounds to achieve their potential, while contributing to a positive and inclusive academic environment. Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for our Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Games Art will be to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across relevant subject areas, contributing to the design and development of modules and learning materials that reflect current industry practice. You will support students through both academic and pastoral engagement, helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, while working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall student experience. The role also involves contributing to recruitment activities, course development and wider School initiatives, as well as engaging in research, scholarly activity or knowledge exchange to inform teaching and strengthen the subject area. You will build and maintain links with industry and external partners, support quality processes and, where appropriate, take on additional responsibilities such as module or course leadership.
