Workshop Fitter - Early and Late Shifts Available
This is a new opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Engineer who wishes to operate in a high-quality workshop environment.
The company will support your career development by providing training on new products and courses such as Irtec.
Your work will be diverse and engaging, with no two days being the same. You may work on:
* Main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), including hook loaders
* Municipal Vehicles such as gritters, dust carts, sweepers, and tippers
Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Routine and preventative maintenance
* MOT preparation
* Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
* 6 or 8 weekly inspections
* Correction of running defects
* Chassis and fabrication work
* Hydraulics and pneumatics
* Vehicle standard improvements
* Electrical and wiring inspections and repairs
Ideally, candidates will be fully qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). Additional certifications such as IRTEC or EV qualifications are desirable, as well as a HGV Class 1 or Class 2 license.
