Role Overview:
To ensure that the delivery of mechanical service and repair aspects of the contract are delivered in an effective, efficient and professional manner to the complete satisfaction of all our direct and indirect clients. To have specific day to day responsibility for non-motorised ground support equipment maintenance / repairs and any other reasonable request of the Account Supervisor. What you'll do:
1. Ensure all Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance is completed to schedule ensuring that appropriate documentation is completed and submitted in a timely fashion.
2. Perform rectification of defects, ensuring all safety and performance standards are met in accordance with the contract.
3. Carry out routine maintenance work associated with all mechanical systems.
4. Supervise specialist contractors and ensure all certification/ documentation is completed in accordance with client and EMCOR requirements.
5. Liaise with and respond to the Helpdesk ensuring that urgent maintenance tasks are responded to within appropriate timescales.
6. Ensure that good housekeeping and working practices are employed and ensure that you represent EMCOR in a professional manner at all times.
7. Perform call out duty as required in accordance with contractual requirements.
8. Comply with any reasonable request from line manager.
About the role
Who you'll be:
9. This position requires ONC/OND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant job specific discipline.
10. Proven experience within a building services environment.
11. Knowledge of PSSR 2000/Confined Space, Legionella, and Permit to Work systems would be an advantage
12. Articulate, numerate and IT literate.
13. Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law preferred.
14. Understand the cost of poor performance.
15. Good all round knowledge of Facility Management and Building Service Engineering.
16. The ability to establish, implement and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety and operational performance.
