Teacher of Religious Education (Part-Time) – Sheffield
September – December 2026
2 Days per Week | KS3 & KS4

Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Sheffield that is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026 through to December 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate RE specialist to make a meaningful impact, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role
1. Deliver high-quality RE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
2. Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
3. Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion and critical thinking
4. Work collaboratively with the Humanities department
5. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential)
8. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education
9. Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
10. Excellent classroom management skills
11. Available to work 2 days per week (days to be confirmed)
