"It takes more than walls to build a home. It takes heart, leadership, and vision", Delivering oustanding care starts with connection and at Haven Retreat Care, we believe every child deserves more than a placement — they deserve a stable, nurturing home where they feel safe, valued, and supported to heal.
We're a new, ambitious provider creating child-centred homes built on strong values, high standards, and a genuine belief that care should always come before profit. We exist to create spaces where young people can recover, grow, and thrive, where the people caring for them feel equally supported, developed, and empowered.
Why is this an exciting opportunity?
We're launching a brand-new, children's home, and we're looking for a Registered Manager who's ready to take the lead in shaping something special from day one.
You'll have the opportunity to work alongside a leadership team that's driven by people, purpose, and positive change. You'll bring your knowledge, vision, and passion, and we'll provide the structure, support, and autonomy to help you build a home that makes a lasting difference.
This is your chance to influence the foundations, from systems and recruitment to culture and care. Creating a service that not only meets expectations but sets the standard. This journey will belong to you just as much as it does to us and that's why finding the right person to help shape this vision is so important.
The Role:
As Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for all operational aspects of the home, ensuring children receive consistent, high-quality, trauma-informed care.
You'll play a key role in establishing the home's structure, policies, and practices, assisting with the development and implementation of infrastructure now and over time as the service grows.
Recruitment, onboarding, and developing a skilled, values-driven team will sit at the heart of your role, alongside fostering a positive, resilient culture where both young people and staff feel supported.
Through strong leadership, reflective practice, and a clear focus on quality assurance, you'll drive continuous improvement. Whilst ensuring the home provides stability, safety, and real opportunities for children to thrive.
