My client, a British manufacturer of iconic vehicles, requires an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative to join its team. This role is working day shifts only although some weekends may be available as overtime. The Senior Warehouse Operator will lead daily warehouse operations. This role is essential in ensuring inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, and timely dispatches, while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized environment. The Senior Warehouse Operator will supervise staff, coordinate logistics, collaborate with other departments, and drive operational improvements. Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. • Lead and train warehouse staff, ensuring efficient shift coverage and high team performance. • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems (Factory Master). • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety protocols and company policies. • Collaborate with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Aftersales, and Production to meet delivery targets. • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities, report and address maintenance or safety issues. • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and reduce errors. • Generate regular reports on stock levels, shipments, and productivity. • Investigate and resolve any issues related to shipments, returns, or stock discrepancies. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role. • Proficiency with ERP systems and standard computer applications (Excel, email, etc.). • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Physically fit with the ability to lift to 25 kg and work on your feet for extended periods. • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Forklift license/certification is desirable.
