The Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our Stafford team. In this role, you will provide person-centred care and emotional support to individuals in their homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans
* Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and finances
* Support individuals to achieve their goals and participate in community and leisure activities
* Administer and record medication following procedures
* Respond to challenging behaviour using a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach
* Provide safe transportation for individuals (if driving)
* Maintain accurate care records
* Work flexibly across day shifts (7:45am–8:00pm) and waking night shifts (7:45pm–8:00am) on a rotational basis
* Average 7 shifts per fortnight
What We're Looking For
* Experience in care or support work is desirable (training provided)
* A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
* Right to work in the UK (no 20-hour student visa restrictions – sponsorship not available)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Honest, compassionate, and flexible approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
* Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs
* Familiarity with supporting people who experience emotional distress

* £12.60/hour without NVQ
* £13.10/hour with NVQ Level 2/3
* Additional £0.50/hour for drivers regularly using service vehicles
