The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.
The post holder will be responsible for designing and delivering specialist counter fraud training to NHSCFA people and external stakeholders who support the fight against Fraud and other economic crime within the NHS. Working as part of a part of a team ensuring NHSCFA people receive initial training and continued professional development in line with requirements of the Government Counter Fraud Profession requirements. The role includes development and delivery of face to face and virtual training.

Design and deliver a range of counter fraud learning activities to NHSCFA people and the wider counter fraud community in line with current legislation, policies and government profession requirements. Including preparing lesson plans, drafting session content and a range of practical assessments.
Subject matter includes all elements of investigative training and management of serious and complex investigations.
Conduct extensive research of legislation and other related matters ensuring training materials are kept up to date and are appropriate for the current fraud landscape.
Provide advice to all areas of the organisation where research conducted reflects a requirement to update polices or procedures.
We have offices based in Coventry, Newcastle and London and offer flexible, hybrid, office and home-based working. In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate.
