Haywards Heath College, part of the Chichester College Group, invites applications for an Associate Teacher in Humanities (Ref: HH1101). Remuneration: £26.85 - £41.87 per hour. Variable hours.
Are you passionate about inspiring young people and adults to achieve academic progress and/or a university place? In this role you’ll undertake teaching and assessing activities to ensure high quality provision, particularly in the Access to Higher Education course. You will also ensure that student needs are met in a responsive way in line with inclusive learning. A degree in a Humanities subject (History, Politics or Law) is required.
You should hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this qualification. The opportunity to teach GCSE English and an adult evening class in Creative Writing will also be available to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Deliver teaching and assessment activities to ensure high-quality provision, with a focus on the Access to Higher Education course.
* Support inclusive learning by meeting student needs in a responsive manner.
* Potentially teach GCSE English and an adult evening class in Creative Writing for suitable candidates.
Qualifications
* Degree in History, Politics or Law (Humanities).
* Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
