Job Title - Security Officer
Location - Soho London Rate - £15.10 per hour
Shifts - Rotating shift pattern days nights and weekends. TBC
Hours - Approx avg. 56 hours per week
Start Times: 07:00 Days & 19:00 Nights proposed

Key Information:
Essential Skills:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and personable manner
* Exceptional customer service abilities, with a strong focus on providing outstanding experiences.
* Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality in all responsibilities.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
* Physically able to perform all duties associated with the role.
* Computer confident, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
* Possess a valid SIA license.
* First Aid at Work qualification.
Desirable Skills:
* Prior 5 yr work experience in the security industry and/or within the hospitality sectors is desirable
* Familiarity with technologies used to detect security threats.
* Enhanced communication, listening, and customer service skills or the ability to develop further in this field.
Duties to include:
* The maintenance of good order on site, including the protection of everyone therein against violent acts, abuse and accident.
* The protection of the client's property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste.
* The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft and damage.
* Prevent offences against the law of the land, Unitrust disciplinary codes and policies and ensure all are brought to the attention of the management.
* Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear.
* Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instruction and SOPs.
* Working with the reception team meet and greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out. Some standing (for more than one hour) may be required due to patrolling (where applicable).
* Escalating any security and maintenance related issues to building management team by detailed and accurate emailed reports.
* Production and administration of access pass cards for tenants and visitors for the access control system (where applicable).
* Monitor, escalate and respond to alarms as required with the CCTV, Security & BMS systems.
* Management of Contractors for the client and tenants. Liaising with tenants particularly during tenant's fit out stage.
