We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join our ELT Assistants Team, based in Cambridge. This is a busy, varied role—every day will be different. You will be juggling competing priorities while providing a first‑class level of support to our executive leadership team. You will be using your outstanding IT skills to stay one step ahead in compiling reports, managing extensive diaries and travel, and coordinating events. Thinking on your feet and adapting to last‑minute changes is a key part of this role.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days a week based in the office.

Responsibilities
* Work with the Senior Executive Assistants to support the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining busy diaries/calendars.
* Collaborate with the Senior Executive Assistants to identify and meet the varying needs of ELT members.
* Develop a solid understanding of the global medical devices environment and be able to credibly interact with individuals inside and outside the company, sometimes as the company’s lead contact person. Coordinate meetings, VIP visits, events, and off‑sites.
* Secure locations and set‑up, secure resources, coordinate hotel and transport services.
* Facilitate transitions between contacts and greet guests as appropriate.
* Maintain meeting minutes and action items follow‑up lists.
* Assist with the development, editing, and publishing of presentations, prepare agendas and letters, collate and produce reports as needed by members of the executive team.
* Screen email correspondence, mail, and telephone calls; review, route, and respond to inquiries as appropriate.
* Make travel arrangements, including complex international travel.
We would expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Executive Assistance remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have / be:
* Experience of providing support to a team.
* Outstanding IT and hardware skills; you’ll be an MS Office super‑user and confident with conferencing hardware such as projectors, screens, conference phones, and virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Google, Zoom, etc.).
* Proven ability to calmly manage and adapt to last‑minute change.
* Highly organised, resilient, and able to problem‑solve and take responsibility.
* Proven influencing skills at a senior level, self‑starter with the ability to work under pressure, and ability to absorb information quickly.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Genuine desire to help and support.
