What you will do: The role aims to enhance the quality of the practice learning experience and positively contribute to the future nursing/midwifery workforce. You will work closely with practice learning environments to positively enhance the learning environment for staff and students upholding the values of NHS Ayrshire and Arran. You will be required to support staff, practice supervisors and practice assessors and practice learning environments within current educational and development programme. The post holder will work closely with the Lead Practice Education Facilitator, the wider Professional Development team, NHS Education for Scotland and with our local Higher and Further Education Institutions. For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job description Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: We are seeking enthusiastic registered nurses and midwives with current NMC registration and evidence of experience in relation to the role. You should be educated to degree level and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of contemporary nursing and midwifery practice and nursing and midwifery education. You must be currently active as a Practice Assessor within your clinical area and have a proven track record of supporting, supervising and assessing nursing and midwifery students and healthcare learners. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage and work collaboratively with others, additionally the ability to demonstrate an excellent level in the use of digital technology, information systems and email.
