Berry Recruitment are currently seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for our client based in Bedford.
Role Overview:As a Kitchen Supervisor, you'll oversee day-to-day activities of kitchen staff, ensuring food service exceeds expectations while meeting production and waste targets.
Hourly Rate: £12 per hourWorking Hours: Monday - Friday (8am-4pm) - Occasional weekends.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate kitchen staff.
* Manage stock and food orders efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Supervise kitchen porters and ensure targets are met.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the chef for smooth operations.
* Handle financial responsibilities within the kitchen.
Requirements:
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Enhanced DBS certificate required.
* Financial management experience desirable.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in cookery desirable.
* Basic or Intermediate food hygiene Level 2 or 3 desirable.
