Junior Sous Chef Candidate Requirements:
* Ability to deliver consistently high-quality food and a great guest experience
* Confident working across all kitchen sections with flexibility and attention to detail
* Capable of executing prep for all food service operations as directed by senior chefs
* Knowledge of food safety practices, including Check 365 temperature entries
* Ability to complete accurate section orders and maintain stock levels
* Awareness of equipment maintenance and prompt reporting of any faults
* Strong team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
* Proven ability to train and support CDPs within assigned sections
* A role model who champions culture, morale, and motivation within the kitchen
* Ability to manage prep volumes based on cover count
* Ensure all prep is reviewed and signed off by a senior team member
* Quickly escalate food quality or service issues to the Sous Chef
* Confident in supervising a section during service and ensuring team standards
* Strong communication with senior chefs on team and building-related concerns
* Ability to lead the team in the absence of a Sous Chef or during their holidays
* Organised approach to shift handovers and prep planning

About MJMK Restaurants
MJMK Restaurants own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango.
