Required to start in July, we seek to recruit a full-time Estates Operative to join our friendly and professional Estates Department, working alongside our team at Crackley Hall to provide a safe and high-quality working, learning and recreational environment. Estates Operatives work closely with the Site Supervisor to perform a range of caretaker-type duties. The role is crucial in providing a fully functioning, organised, clean, tidy, secure and well-maintained site for use by its many stakeholders.
The role is all year round (52 weeks) for 37.5 hours per week (with a one hour unpaid break per day). The working pattern is predominately Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 7.00pm.
Some flexibility will be required in respect of working hours but there are also opportunities for additional work to support key events and opportunities to earn overtime/time of in lieu.
The salary point is D5 of the Princethorpe Foundation support staff scale, currently £12.50 per hour. The actual salary based on 37.5 hours per week is £24,375.
An annual leave allowance of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays is included with the role.
In addition, the Foundation sites are formally closed between Christmas and New Year and staff are not required to work during this period. This does not affect the 25 day annual leave allowance.
Potential candidates are strongly encouraged to visit the schools website crackleyhall.co.uk for more information about our thriving School, which offers a rich curriculum and strong sense of community. Continuing Professional Development is encouraged and personal visits to the school are welcome.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a Foundation that values its staff and offers a rewarding benefits package including discounted places for staff, a pension scheme and a cycle to work scheme.
