About the Role We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Financial Controller to lead and develop our finance department. This pivotal role will ensure the integrity of financial processes, reporting, and controls, while supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth. Maintain and enhance a robust financial controls framework. Oversee and, where necessary, prepare routine financial transactions including: - Month-end journal entries and trial balance review - Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Prepare and review financial reports including: - Monthly management accounts with variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations - Departmental overhead cost reports and liaison with budget holders - Board-level reporting packs -Annual statutory financial statements and regulatory accounts Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process. Oversee cash management activities including: - Cashflow forecasting - Payment approvals Skills: Lead Manage ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified Proven experience managing a small finance team.
