Role - Senior Account Manager
Location - United States, Remote
Salary range - $115,000-$125,000 + 30% OTE
We are an exclusively partnering with a Series A funded company at the forefront of innovation in the life sciences and AI space, who are partnered with some of the industry’s leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of enterprise accounts across the U.S., helping clients unlock the full potential of cutting‑edge AI solutions to drive their drug discovery and research efforts.
This is a high‑impact, quota‑carrying role where you’ll be the primary point of contact for key accounts, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product adoption and expansion. With a focus on long‑term relationship building, you will have the opportunity to shape strategic account plans, uncover new business opportunities, and drive the growth of your clients – all while contributing to the success of a fast‑growing, venture‑backed startup.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Ownership & Growth
o Own and manage the full commercial lifecycle for a portfolio of enterprise pharmaceutical and biotech accounts.
o Develop tailored account plans aligned to clients' research priorities, data strategies, and product roadmaps.
o Identify and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across the company's product offerings.
o Collaborate with leadership, legal, and finance teams to negotiate contracts and licensing agreements.
* Relationship Management
o Build deep relationships with key stakeholders at director to VP level, including scientists, bioinformaticians, and procurement teams.
o Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ drug discovery pipelines, data needs, and competitive challenges.
o Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure ongoing alignment on strategic value and growth opportunities.
* Product & Technical Engagement
o Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's AI solutions to effectively articulate product value.
o Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure clients realize the full potential of their investment.
o Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback and feature requests to influence product roadmap decisions.
* Pipeline & Revenue Reporting
o Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM data (opportunities, forecasts, and account strategies).
o Forecast and report on expansion revenue with a high degree of accuracy.
o Contribute to commercial strategy by sharing insights into market trends, competitive intelligence, and win/loss analysis.
